I have partnered with eCoach to write one of the courses (Engaging Diverse Communities in Sport) in their brand new Equality, Diversity & Inclusion eLearning pathway to be featured on the Accelerate Sport platform.
This January, eCoach launch a brand-new online training platform for sport with the aim to Accelerate Positive Behaviour Change. Accelerate Sport is set to be the one-stop destination for sport Continued Professional Development.
The platform is set to disrupt the current market of sport eLearning and provide learners with the highest quality training content, with case studies from sporting professionals and organisations working to make positive change, such as Football Beyond Borders, England Basketball and Calzaghe Mini Dragons.
Along with engaging courses, Accelerate Sport will provide invaluable webinars, downloadable resources, bite-size videos, social areas in a holistic learning space accessible for everyone. All the courses will help people understand the barriers faced around challenging topics, such as engaging with diverse communities and anti-racism, and give learners clear and strategic guidance on how these can be overcome, as well as, how to create an action plan for your sport and put the training into practice.
There will be a short assessment at the end of the courses for learners to test their knowledge, as well as the option to attend a webinar-based session following course completion to ask questions and refresh the knowledge they have acquired from the course.
Learners will also receive a digital certificate and CPD points accredited by CIMSPA – Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity.
